Jay Park And DOK2 To Appear On Kim Hyun Joong’s New Album ‘Round 3′

티브이데일리 포토

Kim Hyun Joong’s agency Key East revealed last week that the singer’s “ third mini album Round 3 will be supported by Park Jae Bum and DOK2.”

One of the songs, “Unbreakable,” consists of a tough and strong modern sound, as well as the incorporation of traditional Korean elements. Another, called “Your Story,” features Park Jae Bum and rapper DOK2 adding a nice contrast to Kim Hyun Joong’s rich and appealing vocals.

There is a rumor saying that DOK2 actively participated in composing “Your Story,” by making various suggestions — for matching lyrics starting with the concept, and also, allowing Kim Hyun Joong’s voice to stand out with the incorporation of romantically emotional lyrics.

It’s been a busy year for Kim Hyun Joong, as he is also currently appearing on Barefoot Friends.

HyunA & Taeyang voted as the next Lee Hyori & Rain

Today’s hottest idol stars were asked who they thought would be best qualified to be the next Lee Hyori and Rain, two very iconic personalities in Hallyu.

Although there were a wide variety of opinions, 4minute‘s HyunA and Big Bang‘s Taeyang came out on top of the ranking.

Runner-ups included B2ST‘s Lee Kikwang, Jay Park, SNSD‘s Yuri, and G.NA.

This poll was especially interesting as members of Infinite, MBLAQ, U-KISS and B1A4 all actively voted for HyunA as the next Lee Hyori…

The Rooftop Prince OST Rocks!

by Sara A. Layne:

My current k-drama obsession is Rooftop Prince. I waited until the eight episodes were out before I started watching because I wanted to be able to do a marathon. I haven’t been this drawn into a drama since History of A Salaryman (and yes I realize that wasn’t that long ago). One of the main reasons why I like this drama so much is because of the music. Rooftop Prince has one of the best OST’s I have heard in a while. The title song, Happy Ending by Jay Park, is so upbeat and happy that I can’t help but smile every time I hear it.

Whenever there is an upbeat scene or when they decide to take one of their many pictures, you can beat on Happy Ending making an appearance. But just as every happy scene has me looking forward to hearing Jay Park’s voice, every sad or dramatic scene has me bracing myself for Ali’s Hurt. Be prepared to cry (or at least choke up) because Ali’s haunting voice combined with the drama unfolding on screen can cause almost cause you physical pain.

Rooftop Prince also scored a homerun with Baek Ji Young’s (who I like to call OST royalty) After A Long Time. When the characters start reflecting on the past is one of the times you hear this song or when they suddenly forget how to cross the street (watch a few episodes to understand what I mean). There are only a few episodes left and at this point, the music is almost as important as the story line. If you haven’t watched this drama yet, I urge you (PLEASE) watch it! I promise you won’t be disappointed. Let me know what you think of the drama and the rest of the OST in the comments ^_^

Jay Park ticket sales delayed, more information released

As most Jay Park fans are aware of, this young Korean soloist is finally making an official appearance in Europe, starting in London and moving onto Amsterdam and Berlin. Invazi World, the organisers for his European tour, have had to postpone ticket sales due to internal paperwork issues. In the meantime, they’ve revealed more information to fans to reassure them.

Amsterdam tickets will go on sale on Monday, July 29, but tickets for London and Berlin are both postponed until further notice. Invazi World will give 48 hours’ notice before any sales begin. As for locations, Jay will perform at the famous Hammersmith Apollo in London, The Sand in Amsterdam, and Arena Halle in Berlin.

Eager fans who were looking forward to buying their tickets now will have to wait a bit longer. On the other hand, it has been revealed that it is highly likely that there will be official merchandise for sale at the events.

Make sure to keep an eye out for any updates via Invazi World.
